The Stettiner Yacht-Club e.V. Lübeck is located on the “Alten Fairway” of the Untertrave near Bad Schwartau on the starboard side upstream, as the first yacht club right behind the piers of the high school rowing club.
The left bank belongs to the Teerhofsinsel, which has become a peninsula by building a dam with a road. The Trave, an idyllic little river, has its source in Schleswig-Holstein and is navigable for large seagoing vessels from the Hanseatic city of Lübeck to the mouth of the Trave.

ASHORE
The close proximity of the Stettiner Yacht Club (StYC for short) to the famous Hanseatic city of Lübeck, with all its sights, invites you to linger for a while. However, Bad Schwartau also has a lot to offer, because it is an active health resort with many medical offers, sauna, adventure pool, shopping center, many small and large shops, restaurants and quaint pubs where you can feel good. Bad Schwartau can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes. Trains and buses run to Lübeck city center at short intervals. The journey time is about 5 minutes by train and about 20 minutes by bus. Direct motorway access to the Bad Schwartau exit (BAB A1) and train connection via Bad Schwartau train station (5min walk) characterize the good location of the StYC.
